After capturing our attention with “Stolen Dance” & “Down By The River”, the buzzing German singer/songwriter is primed to make a serious international push with his stellar debut album Sadnecessary. Although the album is only out in Germany now, it’s only a matter of time before his music goes global when the wheels start to spin and the mouths get to talkin’ on this guy.

On Sadnecessary lines are blurred between alternative, acoustic-rock, reggae and pop. Milky Chance’s music is as universally appealing as it gets. Like it or not, this is pop music that your parents like, your little sister likes and music your hippie friend swears by. So you might as well get used to it.

With an album like this, Chance needs to be immediately put in the same category as the likes of Citizen Cope, Ben Harper or John Butler, because like these artists, he has that unique voice and song-writing abilities that makes him a one of a kind.

In addition to the songs we have previously posted, below are more standouts from the album to tide you over until you can purchase it. For those of you who reside in Germany, what are you waiting for?
