Upon hearing the first single, “Stylin“, from Shad’s forthcoming album, Flying Colours, you immediately got the impression that this new album was going to be his best yet. There was no proof on this of course, rather it was just something that you felt.

Shad’s time has come and that time is now because upon hearing the second single, “Fam Jam (Fe Sum Immigrins)”, your love for this dude is going to double and so is the amount of ears that are going to be gravitating towards him.

Based around subjects of being an immigrant in the Western world, Shad portrays what it’s like to be in the shoes of someone going through such things. There are many ways other rappers could have conveyed this story but with Shad rapping over country guitar loops, it’s got a loveable factor to it that only Shad could pull off.

Hit up itunes to grab “Fam Jam (Fe Sum Immigrins)” right now and mark your calendars for Oct 15th when Flying Colours drops.

Vancouver: catch him at the Vogue Theatre on Nov 29th — tickets HERE.
